ACCESSING THE PORTAL - TO learn more click here

To access the portal: You must either enter your email address for a link to be sent to your email, or have the smart phone app. Email links are sent out and do expire so you will need to request a new email link after 24hours.

  • To get an email link sent, click on the portal access button above (or on the homepage) or click here: https://colibriwellness.clientsecure.me/

  • Enter your email as a new or existing client. If you are a new client you will be able to request a free introduction phone call (or video) time. Since video does not always work smoothly due to internet connectivity, the default is a phone call if patients are either not on the video link at the time of the appointment or have not completed the online intake forms sent out as a new patient.

Simple Practice is an online software that allows patients to access their account through a website, or through a smartphone app. The portal allows:

  • Request an appointment in person, or by virtual telemedicine / phone (whichever you prefer). The price of the service is listed at the time of service (no insurance is accepted, but a superbill can be made at your request). To learn more about services and insurance, click here.

  • View upcoming appointments and make any changes

  • Complete intake forms and policies

  • View treatment plans, lab test results, and receipt/billing documents

Appointments can be requested in person or by virtual telemedicine software, or by phone. Once scheduled, if you wish to switch your appointment type please text me your updated request at:

(520) 276-8315

Intake forms and policies are available to review through the portal or smart phone app. These are not required for the free introduction visit, as it is often helpful to have the process explained. The policies and intake forms must be completed prior to new patient visit appointment. If these forms are not completed, you will be notified and the appointment may be cancelled or rescheduled.

If you have a smart phone, I recommend downloading the smart phone app to ideally make everything simpler and avoid needing an email link to access the portal.

  • The smart phone app: Simple Practice Client Portal

  • The virtual telemedicine app for use with smart phone: Simple Practice Telehealth

Please feel free to text Dr. Vose directly at (520) 276-8315 for the purposes of scheduling or coordination of treatment plan, as outlined below.

TEXT MESSAGE POLICY

At the office of Dr. Erik Vose, NMD, text messaging is offered free of cost to both current patients primarily as well as prospective patients for the purposes of logistical communications. In general, text messages can be sent to Dr. Vose for a quick response, such as to clarify a question around a recent visit, or to provide a specific change to treatment plan. Text messages are a great way to send updated information to Dr. Vose that would be otherwise difficult to remember to communicate, such as to introduce a question that can be answered later during a visit. If you can access the portal please ask your questions there as it will keep track of the answers and is a confidential form of communication.

Naturopathic medicine is not a form of emergency medicine, and if you are facing a medical emergency, please call 911. Text messages cannot provide a reliable or rapid responses for patient medical care. If you need to have a physician on call to support you, there may be an option with concierge medicine available to you so please ask Dr. Vose about this. This sort of service would be covered as part of a monthly fee.

The goal is to respond to text messages within 2 business days. All text messages will be viewed by Dr. Vose at least within 1 week. In general, text messages are reviewed on a daily basis, except on weekends and holidays. Because text messages are not part of a paid package and are therefore offered without additional fees, there is no guarantee that Dr. Vose will be able to respond to the text.

If you have not received a response please feel free to send the message again. If you do wish to have a response to your text message, please be sure to indicate that clearly with a question mark, or ok to state plainly “please respond.”

Text messages are not a confidential form of communication and therefore confidential health protected information cannot be shared with the patient through text message.  The online portal is the ideal place for asking clinical questions confidentially, such as related to the treatment plan for a recent visit.

Text messages are ideal for:

  • To notify Dr. Vose with a need to schedule a visit, or to reschedule a visit

  • Questions about using the portal or to request access to the portal

  • To update information about the patient, such as recent change to email

  • To notify Dr. Vose that you cannot access information needed through the portal

  • To request additional information about a treatment plan from a recent visit

  • To provide Dr. Vose with an update to something related to medical care, such as to say that a particular issue occurred on that day or that a supplement or medication created an unexpected response.

For clinical questions, it is appropriate to use the online messenger through the portal, or schedule a visit with Dr. Vose, either in person or virtually. As a matter of consideration, most clinics do not offer direct communication with the physician, instead communication with the doctor is reserved for paid visits.

It is truly an honor to be of service in this deeply meaningful way, which includes more close communication to help patients feel supported and resilient.

With a Warm Heart,

Dr. Erik Vose, NMD
