Dr. Erik Vose (NMD) Naturopathic Physician Tucson, AZ

Hello and welcome to a brief introduction to my philosophy and Naturopathic medical practice. I started my self-healing journey in 2003 and have been expanding my knowledge and experience in natural medicine since then. As the son of a medical doctor and a lifelong patient of conventional medicine, I can certainly appreciate the benefits of modern medicine and wish to integrate all options available in the safest possible way for myself, my own family, just as well as my patients.

I respect each patient as a valuable member of the human society, regardless of differences of opinions. I strongly advocate for medical rights to decide on treatment decisions. I've worked with thousands of patients, ranging from healthy to the terminally ill. I will collaborate with you to help you harness your innate healing power.

I believe in a collaborative and patient empowered model of naturopathic medicine, which uses carefully chosen therapies to bring unique patient circumstances back into balance. Utilizing safe modern scientific breakthroughs, Naturopathic medicine incorporates ancient traditions, thus offering patients truly integrative medicine. Medical recommendations are made based on evidence from scientific literature, traditional health practices, or clinical experience.

Naturopathic medicine emphasizes an integrative model of healing, reaching across fields of science to guide patients through the treatment process, predicting test results and expected outcomes with transparency to the patient. The short term success we achieve over time develops into a trusting therapeutic alliance that is crucial to healing chronic disease. So often we heal in relationship to others. Meaningful connection with others provides tremendous motivation for healing and developing insightful self-awareness.

My treatment success strategy

My treatment success strategy is based on educating patients about the resources that are available, and encouraging patients to pursue their goals in health and life in general. Being well informed about their health condition, patients continue to manage their own health after treatment with sustainable self-care techniques and lifestyle awareness. In this model of care, there are causes to illness that can be discovered. A wide variety of testing options are available to guide the treatment process.

As a Naturopathic Medical Doctor in Arizona I am licensed to practice medicine as a physician to diagnose and treat illnesses. In the intake process I take the time to seriously listen and discover what makes your experience of illness different based on your unique body, awareness, and environment. Then together we find practical solutions to guide you back to health collaboratively.

I can help you find the best solution for your unique health situation, using all reasonably available tools to get to your health goals. A wide range of safe and natural treatments are available such as herbal medicine, hydrotherapy, physical medicine, homeopathy, nutrition, intravenous therapies, and much more. When needed, we can use pharmaceutical medications, order advanced testing, and refer to other medical specialists.

Naturopathic physicians are trained to collaborate well with other medical providers and can often integrate with other treatments to increase efficacy and reduce side-effects. This is especially true in cancer and autoimmune disease treatment. If you are facing side effects of treatments, there are likely many natural tools to help improve quality of life.
